I had a boyfriend who spent 5 years in a penitentiary. When we met, he had been out for like 8 years. He had a good job and was a home owner. I wouldn't have had any idea he spent any time in prison, but he sat me down shortly after we met and told me. He was a good man, and we went out for a few months but it didn't work out.
